The reason for becoming an intern
I can safely say that this is one of the very few companies in Ukraine that provides massive support to students and their development. At CRH, you’ll be working with leading specialists and most up-to-date technologies, and you’ll also be able to fulfil yourself as a professional and take part in many exciting projects.

Impressions upon learning about the internship
A great opportunity to work in my specialisation for a large international company. Develop in general and also as a professional in my field.

The first thing that impressed during the internship
The opportunity to visit all 3 plants and functions of the company.

The best memories of the internship
The internship was memorable primarily thanks to the wonderful people I worked with, who helped and supported me. Also, working at all three plants of the company, participating in various projects that were not always within my specialisation, but this greatly expanded my understanding of the interaction between the functions of the company and its scale as a whole.

The Internship Programme in three adjectives and three nouns
Adjectives: interesting, developing, motivating. Nouns: knowledge, implementation, success.

Difficulties during the Programme
Understanding the work processes of other departments.

What helped cope with the difficulties
Communication with the people who are competent in the area.

Advice to yourself during the internship
Do your best to get the idea of all parts of the company to understand the complete production picture.

Advice to future interns
I would advise future interns not to give up and not to doubt their abilities, and always give it a try before making hasty conclusions because sometimes just a few steps forward can become your lucky ticket to the future.

What you discovered about yourself during the internship
1. There is a desire to try myself in some other functions of the company.
2. I understood that I’m capable of more than I thought before.

What qualities appeared as a result of the Internship Programme
Being able to listen, a sense of duty, sociability.

The secret of successful completion of the internship
Patience, hard work, interest in my work and communication with people, clear goal-setting, perseverance, teamwork and support from mentors, colleagues, friends and family.

The best thing about the new job
In my work, most of all I like the team I work in. They are positive and motivated people who know their job well and work as one team, which, in turn, gives energy and adds motivation. I also like the opportunities provided by CRH. Currently I’m at the last stage of internship in the international ITP Cement Mobility programme. Thanks to this programme, I have an opportunity to work in my speciality in another country, share experiences with colleagues from abroad, acquire new skills, grow as a professional and as a person in general.
